About Me

My name is Kamila, and I am passionate about helping people to improve their health. I am a true believer that our diet is the key to a healthy life.

Many clients who attended my pre-diabetes, diabetes and weight management classes struggled to put what they learned into practise due to a lack of cooking skills and confidence. With this in mind, I decided to train in vegan cooking with Demuths – one of the most prestigious cooking schools in Bath, Somerset.

Last year I designed ‘Cook, Eat and Stay Healthy’ – a cooking programme to address these needs. The programme is focused on helping people to reduce insulin resistance, improve their blood glucose control and their gut health.

I am NHS trained in nutrition with 16 years’ of experience working in health improvement. I’ve also designed and delivered weight management programmes. In 2016 I qualified in Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Management. Since then, I have delivered the X-Pert diabetes education programme for the B&NES Health Improvement team and the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP). Throughout my career in health improvement I have helped hundreds of clients in making lifestyle changes for improved health. In my free time I enjoy foraging, coastal walks and making fermented food. I offer a bespoke service, giving dietary advice and cooking sessions for anyone who’s been diagnosed with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
